I made the full-width rip cut on the table saw first, then transferred all my measurements onto the panel with a pencil and used a jigsaw to cut out the corner notch. Cutting Out Openings for Electrical Outlets

I started by removing the screws from the outlet cover plate but left it loosely in place against the wall.
